CERTIFICATION, APOSTILLE AND LEGALISATION OF SIGNATURE FOR PRIVATE AND PROFESSIONAL CLIENTS.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #bca184;\">PALAIS-ROYAL NOTAIRES IS ABLE TO PROVIDE THIS SERVICE IN VERY SHORT TIME.<\/span><\/p><h4><br \/><span style=\"color: #bca184;\">CERTIFICATION OF SIGNATURE<\/span><\/h4><p>The certification of signature is the formality by which the notary certifies the identity of a named person. The notary certifies that the signature on the document is that of the person claiming it.<\/p><p>The signature must be affixed by the signatory in the presence of a notary. The notary does not validate the content of the signed document but only certifies the identity of the signatory.<\/p><p>Certification of signature is charged at 80 Euros (excl. VAT) per signature\/document.<\/p><p>A degressive rate can be requested for a regular service.<\/p><h4><br \/><span style=\"color: #bca184;\">CERTIFICATION OF A TRUE COPY<\/span><\/h4><p>The certification of a true copy is the operation consisting in the ascertainment of the conformity of a reproduction of a document with the original document.<\/p><p>Certification of a true copy is charged at 80 Euros (excl. VAT) per copy\/document.<\/p><h4><br \/><span style=\"color: #bca184;\">LEGALISATION<\/span><\/h4><p>Legalisation is the written attestation of the accuracy of the signature on a document and, in the case of a public document, of the capacity of those who received or sent it.<\/p><p>The purpose of legalisation is to certify the authenticity of the signature, seal or stamp on a document. It is necessary for the validity of certified documents in some foreign countries.<\/p><p>Palais-Royal Notaires certifies the signature and then carries out the legalisation formalities with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country where the document originates from. Only documents written in French or, failing that, accompanied by a French translation received by a sworn translator can be legalised.<\/p><p>The signature legalisation service is charged at 150 Euros (excl. VAT) per document, in addition to the signature certification fee. In addition, translator, ministry\/embassy and courier fees are charged at cost.<\/p><h4><br \/><span style=\"color: #bca184;\">APOSTILLE<\/span><\/h4><p>The apostille is the certification of documents issued by an authority or certified by a French authority for production abroad, including notaries.<\/p><p>The apostille is valid for certain countries only. Palais-Royal Notaires certifies the signature and then carries out the apostille formalities with the Paris Court of Appeal.<\/p><p>The apostille service is charged at 130 Euros (excl. VAT) per document, which is added to the cost for the certification of signature. In addition, the courier costs are charged again at cost price.<\/p><h4><br \/><span style=\"color: #bca184;\">CERTIFICATE OF CAPACITY<\/span><\/h4><p>Palais-Royal Notaires can issue certificates of capacity for any French company. The certificate of competency makes it possible to certify the legal capacity of a manager to commit the company for which he or she is the legal representative.<\/p><p>The certificate of capacity can only be issued to French companies, after analysis of supporting documents by a notary from the office.<\/p><p>This service is charged at least at 400 euros (excl. VAT), on the basis of a quotation, depending on the complexity of the case.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><em>Note: For companies and professionals who cannot come to our office, it is possible to arrange for a notary from the office to come and carry out the certification formalities.
